$1,000 Mini Golf Tournament 2022 Recap

We’re back to New Jersey to discuss O-Street Mini Golf’s 4th Annual $1,000 Mini Golf Tournament. This year it took place again at Tee Time Golf in Ocean City, NJ. The tournament consisted of two rounds on 19 out of the 20 holes on the course (The 20th hole is is free game hole). In the past, $1,000 Mini Golf Tournament took place at Congo Falls Adventure Golf (Ocean City, NJ) and GoFish Mini Golf (Avalon, NJ), but this is the second year in a role the tournament has been played at Tee Time Golf and might be here to stay at this course in the future.

The field was stacked with players from all over the country consisting of pros and amateurs alike. In total, there were 58 players that competed, becoming the largest turnout for the tournament’s history. Many low scores were recorded, but Becky Trofa broke the course record with a 31 and setting a tournament record of 29 (out of 19 holes). After all the scores were submitted, there were playoffs for most Holes in One, 4th-6th Place, and 1st Place. The 4th-6th Place playoff went to five holes and the 1st Place Playoff went to six holes. This year’s tournament was the closest it has ever been with most places being only separated by a single stroke each. In the end, Justin Seymour, winner of the first $1,000 Mini Golf Tournament in 2019, was the champion once again.
