2025 AMA National Rankings
The 2025 AMA rankings will utilize the same general 4 tier scoring metric as the 2023 & 2024 seasons.
Blue (Top Tier/Regional Championship): Base Max: 30 Top 10 Bonus Max: 11 *
White (Mid Tier): Base Max: 20 Top 7 Bonus Max: 8*
Red (Entry Tier): Base Max: 12 Top 3 Bonus Max: 4*
Virtual (Putt18 / Walkabout): Top 3 (4,3,2), Top 50% of field (1) & Bottom 50% of field (1/2 point)*
*Base and bonus points may be capped if a certain number of participants is not obtained. See the scoring rubric for more information.
We have decreased the number of blue tournaments for 2025 to designate those tournaments as destination events for competitors in each region and to highlight a major competition in each of our three geographic regions (Midwest, Northeast, South) of the US that attracts a strong field on a good competitive course. Due to this, our past blue tournaments that are not regional championships will moved to our white tier. We have slightly modified the tiers and added more in-person events in 2025 and are only offering one of each virtual event in the first few months of 2025. The continued focus is on awarding high volumes of good play. You can look at overall tournament rubric that helps designate red & white tournaments for 2025, which we will continue to evaluate each year. The blue/regional championships will be selected from the white tier and may change locations from year to year.
Rankings will be updated after each event in a new 2025 ranking spreadsheet.

2024 Final Results (AMA Scoring Details Through November 10)
2024 Scoring Rubric and Full Details
The 2024 AMA rankings are based on an updated scoring metric of the same four tiers as 2023.
Blue (Top Tier): Base Max: 30 Top 10 Bonus Max: 11
White (Mid Tier): Base Max: 20 Top 7 Bonus Max: 8
Red (Entry Tier): Base Max: 12 Top 3 Bonus Max: 4
Virtual (Putt18 / Walkabout): Top 3 (5,4,3), Top 50% of field (1) & Bottom 50% of field (1/2 point)
We incorporated new feedback from our players and adjusted a few small areas to clarify how tie-breakers work and to give a larger reward of points for players who finish first in the main in-person tiers (Blue, White, Red). The continued focus is on awarding high volumes of good play. Points will be awarded in 4 categories:
Points for finishing place in a Blue, White, or Red tournament. Your top finish in each category will be counted toward the final score. If you finish tied in a position, you get the base for that position.
Bonus points for top places in a Blue, White, or Red tournament with the top spot receiving an additional spot.
Tie-breakers were added to distinguish the awarding of bonus points within a tournament if there is no tie-breaker for that position.
Additionally, we put in tie-breakers for the final season standings. We start by looking at the number of amounts played with the person playing less amounts winning the tie. Then we look at the top podium positions in tournaments.
Points for finishing position in any of the Virtual tournaments (with a cap on potential points earned in this category). We lowered the participation points for the bottom half of the field to 1/2 of a point and 1 point for making it in the top 50%. The top 3 positions still can earn 5, 4, & 3 points.
