2025 Season Kicks Off with a Thrilling Tournament at Prodigy Mini Golf

The 2025 mini golf season officially kicked off as O-Street Mini Golf hosted its first event of the year in collaboration with the American Mini Golf Alliance. The excitement was palpable at Prodigy Mini Golf in Easthampton, Massachusetts, where 26 talented players from all across the country and even Canada gathered to compete in what would become an unforgettable tournament.

A Competitive Field with International Flair

The tournament drew players from a variety of regions, with participants traveling from Connecticut, Massachusetts, New Jersey, Georgia, and even Canada. The field was stacked with skill, and the competition was fierce. What made this tournament particularly thrilling was the close race for the top spots, with just a single stroke separating third, fourth, and fifth place.

Close Battles for the Podium

In an intense battle for the podium, Aaron Kaminski and Dave Bava finished in a tie for 5th place, both shooting a 180. Anna Seymour placed 4th with a score of 107, while last year’s champion, Dave Vayda, secured 3rd place with a 106.

However, it was the battle between 2nd and 1st that stole the show. Griffin Weiss showed incredible skill and composure, shooting a 100 and beating last year's best score by a stunning five strokes. Yet, despite Griffin’s impressive performance, it was Justin Seymour who truly stole the spotlight.

A Record-Breaking Performance by Justin Seymour

Justin Seymour put on a mini golf clinic, delivering a jaw-dropping performance that will go down in the history books. In his first round, Justin not only dominated but also set a new course record with a blistering 44. He followed it up with another solid performance in his second round, shooting a 49. His combined total of 93 wasn’t just a personal best—it was a tournament record, cementing his place as the top player of the weekend.

His performance was nothing short of spectacular, and it was clear that the pressure of the competition only fueled his drive. The win not only marked his impressive start to the 2025 season but also set the bar high for future events.

A Big Thanks to Prodigy Mini Golf

A special thank you goes out to the owner and staff of Prodigy Mini Golf for hosting this exciting event for the second year in a row. The course was in excellent shape, and the hospitality shown to the players and spectators made the tournament a truly memorable experience.

The 2025 Season Heats Up

With the first results of the 2025 American Mini Golf Alliance season now officially in, the competition is shaping up to be one for the ages. Players are already gearing up for the next big tournament—the Winter Classic—set to take place at Swing Time in Howell Township, New Jersey, on Sunday, February 23rd.

As the 2025 season continues, we can expect more thrilling moments, intense competition, and, of course, record-breaking performances. Stay tuned for more updates, and get ready for the next tournament!
