Results/Recap
Matthew Kraus assured his position as the GOAT (greatest of all time) when it comes to the annual Red Putter Pro Tournament. Matthew already had the most tournament wins with 3 total coming into this year but in adding another title, he also becomes the first person to threepeat as champion. He did this with the two lowest round scores of the tournament (32 & 33) and tied the 3-round tournament record of 101.
Second place came down to a three-way tie between 2023 Masters winner Gary Hester, 2024 MC Mini Masters winner Bryan Akers, and 2021 Red Putter Tournament winner Tim Tally. Tim “The Tallywacker” Tally won on the 2nd tie-breaker hole (#2) in dramatic fashion with an ace. On the 4th hole, Bryan Akers bested Gary Hester with a hole-in-one to take 3rd.
84 competitors finished through the day.
Amanda Farahany was the top women’s finisher of the day. She tied for 7th place with 4 other players.
