After 5 rounds, Gary Hester and Randy Reeves were tied at 183 (+3) on the challenging Harris built course at Lakeview Putt & Play in Arden, North Carolina for the final event of the 2024 Southern Swing. The winner of the play off would not only decide the winner of the event but Gary and Randy were playing their 3rd events of the Southern Swing and the winner would win the tour championship, $500 and free entry into the mini golf Masters in Myrtle Beach in October.

The tiebreaker was a three hole aggregate playoff. They played holes #1 ,7 & 12. Both deuced #1 & #7 and Randy got a 2 on #12. On the last roll of the ball, Gary carded an ace to win the playoff. Video is coming soon on that one.

If Randy won the playoff, Gary and Randy would have tied for the Southern Swing tour championship but Randy would have won tiebreaker based on their head to head finish this weekend.

Congrats to Gary on the win and for Randy on yet another impressive showing in not only this event but on the tour.

To play in the pro division, you must be a member of the USPMGA.

The event purse for each Southern Swing Tournament is $2,500. The overall tour champion will receive an additional $500 and entry into the 2024 USPMGA Masters in North Myrtle Beach.
