After 180 holes & 10 rounds across two days, it came down to a sudden death playoff. Pat Sheridan and Kyle Courcy were neck and neck throughout the whole tournament and remained tied after both shooting a 36 in the final round. Sudden death (28 minutes into the AMA Facebook live stream) started on #15 where both players carded a 2. Pat got a hole-in-one on #16 and Kyle narrowly missed his attempt to decide the tournament.
This is Pat Sheridan’s 2nd win in the 31-year history of the tournament.
Details
10 round tournament over 2 days (8 split morning, afternoon and evening on Saturday and 2 on Sunday early afternoon), with tee off at 9am on Saturday. $50 entry fee. $500 to first place with the rest of the payouts determined by attendance. A portion of the entry fee will go to the Lee Stoddard scholarship. Lunch will be served on Saturday and there are smaller junior and amateur tournaments at the end of the Saturday afternoon rounds.
